Kirk's Local Honey is a honey brand that harvests honey locally in LA neighborhoods.  The honey jars boast different flavors based on neighborhoods. That's right, honeybees are hard at work in Pasadena, Silver Lake, Studio City, Echo Park, Eagle Rock and more! This is 100% REAL organic honey straight from hives that were NOT heated nor injected with any chemicals.  How does Kirk do it?  Lacking land in LA, he used community garden spaces to harvest honey.  He then  realized how difficult the process is honey making, but he didn’t want to add in chemicals and “products” to the process. Through sponsorship and fandom, he formed the Backyard Beekeepers, a collective of similar minded people who use their backyards to harvest honey.
